SafetyGrip has been importing OTR, TBR and PCR tyres since 2013.

Juan Venter, the director of Safetygrip is in charge of sourcing all our Imported brands and products, travelling to China on a yearly basis doing site visits and negotiations at the manufacturing plants to ensure our suppliers are up to date with the new trends, technology and quality assurance. SafetyGrip has grown into a trusted brand over the years, and therefore our suppliers must meet our Company’s high-quality standards, we are very proud of the brands that we offer to all our clients.

SafetyGrip is up to date with new market related trends and technology by keeping a close eye on what our brands can offer to our clients; offering little claim rations; retreadable and most importantly CPK, making all our brands suitable and competitive in the tyre industry

Our Imports team is a small, but driven and dynamic team. They thrive in their negotiation skills with foreign and local agents, ensuring we land our stock at the best possible rate. They are in charge of all Import orders at all our warehouses as well as client specific orders – therefore making them the hub of SafetyGrip Imported stock.

The Import department specialises in arranging all shipments and the distribution to our warehouses, in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg. Pre-clearance of all shipments prior to arrival to avoid any possible stops such as SAPS, NCRS and Customs stops to avoid any unnecessary price adjustments and delays
